I installed this card in a brand-new build and at first everything seemed to be working without any issues. During the second shutdown from the BIOS screen, I noticed a small graphical glitch in the center of the display, while the rest of the system appeared to function normally. On the next boot after that, the card stopped working altogether. I reached out to customer support but didn’t receive any response for quite some time, even though I had already reported the issue. It wasn’t until days or weeks later, after I posted a review, that I finally heard back. When they did respond, there was some confusion, as they told me a replacement had already been sent even though I never received any email or message confirming that. The replacement eventually arrived and it has been working properly in terms of basic functionality. However, performance in graphically demanding games is inconsistent. While the average frame rate often exceeds 100 FPS and can peak above 120 FPS, the 1% lows can drop to around 30 FPS, which causes noticeable stuttering. The issue isn’t low average FPS, but uneven frame pacing that makes gameplay feel laggy. Overall, the performance matches what you would expect for the price. I would only recommend it if you can’t afford a better used GPU from another source or a higher-end new card, and if you don’t plan on playing demanding modern AAA titles.

Earthy Eve
It’s only been about five days so far, but I’ll update this review if anything changes over time. Up to this point, everything has been running smoothly without any issues. I previously used an XFX AMD Radeon RX GTS XXX Edition 8GB, and the performance of this card feels very similar, as I honestly can’t notice a meaningful difference in everyday use. I tested Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 using the performance preset and averaged over 120 FPS, with the potential for even higher frame rates if some settings are lowered. I also like to use Minecraft as a benchmark, since it makes performance differences very obvious. With modpacks installed, I was getting around 150–250 FPS on reasonably sized packs without adjusting any settings. Without modpacks, and using OptiFine with a few minor tweaks, the frame rate exceeded 1500 FPS, which is impressive for a graphics card that cost around $100. For a mid-range personal gaming build, this card delivers excellent value. I haven’t tested GTA or other demanding titles yet, but based on current results, it should be capable of maintaining over 120 FPS. Overall, I highly recommend this card for budget-conscious gamers, and I’ll update if anything changes.

The picture I attached shows how the card looked right out of the box, and the Amazon packaging itself was already pretty beat up. The card arrived slightly bent, which was confusing and stressful to deal with, especially since I’m not an expert with hardware. At first, it wasn’t bent enough to fit properly, and my PC wouldn’t boot, which had me genuinely worried. I ordered this as a birthday upgrade and it was my first major upgrade for my PC, so I was really excited and didn’t expect that kind of issue. After carefully bending it back into shape, and using a bit of force because it was slightly interfering with my RAM, I finally managed to install it. It took about 15 to 20 minutes to download and set up the required software, but after that everything started working. I tested it in BeamNG.Drive with all settings maxed out on Ultra, and while it didn’t maintain a perfect 60 FPS, it was close enough that my 165Hz monitor made it feel very smooth. Despite the stress caused by the bent metal, I’m very happy with the card’s performance and feel it was well worth the money, even though I also had to upgrade my power supply. Noise levels haven’t been an issue so far, or at least nothing noticeable. A few days later, I tried connecting multiple monitors and found that only one of the three DisplayPort outputs was working, which made setup more tedious than expected. Even so, I only needed two monitors and eventually got everything working the way I wanted. Overall, the performance outweighs the smaller issues, and as a first upgrade for an older PC, I’m satisfied and happy with the purchase.

Fiery Pancakes
I bought this card for my work computer with a Ryzen 5 3600X, 32GB of 3200 MHz RAM, and an A520M chipset so I could do some casual gaming during breaks. I picked it up around the time the Resident Evil 4 remake released, since my old RX 580 with 4GB of VRAM was struggling even at minimum settings. I didn’t want to spend a lot on a GPU for limited use, so I debated between a 6500 XT, an RX 580 8GB, and this option. In the end, I’m confident I made the right choice. The card runs the RE4 remake smoothly at a stable 60 FPS on medium to high settings without ray tracing. The fan behavior is a bit aggressive, as it’s mostly either off or spinning at around 50% speed even when manually adjusted, but it’s not a dealbreaker. At idle, with the fans off, temperatures stay perfectly reasonable at around 32–36°C. Performance is exactly what you would expect from an 8GB RX 5500 XT, and it delivers consistent results without surprises. I was also pleasantly surprised by the overall build quality and packaging, especially compared to some questionable “new” products sold online lately. The card arrived clean, clearly unused, and solidly constructed. While the plastic backplate isn’t ideal, it hasn’t caused any thermal issues. Even under full load in a well-ventilated case, temperatures have stayed under 60°C, which is more than acceptable for this class of GPU.
